Adapting to the conditions is key when chasing upper class trout, and patterns change from year to year! Crazy high temperatures this summer have forced us to stay deep throughout the day. Normally this time of year we would be able to start shallow and follow them deep but when water temperatures start the day at 87°, they don’t really have much incentive to move shallow overnight.

Cold water road!  9.5lbs and in the slot. Caught our fish in one area during the minor feed period, and it was the warmest water we found all day. Coincidence? Nope! January still has a few dates available for trophy trout in Baffin & the ULM.
